Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives public access to many court records, but access depends on the record and the channel. Sherburne County Court Administration manages District Court case records for criminal, civil, family, probate, juvenile, traffic, and conciliation matters. Minnesota Court Records Online, known as MCRO, can locate many public cases statewide. Courthouse terminals and Court Administration remain important when remote access is limited or a certified copy is needed. This site brings those official routes, contact details, and record-request distinctions together for Sherburne County readers.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: official search and reading basics for criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Court dates and settings: ways to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing
- Case lookups: how MCRO searches by party name, case number, citation number, or attorney
- Record requests: how court records, plain copies, and certified copies are obtained from Court Administration
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected to the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Sherburne County Court Administration, or another government agency. Its limits include:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file
- It cannot set, move, or confirm a hearing date
- It cannot seal, remove, or alter a court record
- It cannot issue certified copies, orders, or court documents
- It does not provide legal advice about an individual matter
- It cannot guarantee that a court procedure, fee, or schedule has not changed
Sherburne County Court Administration is the local custodian for Sherburne District Court records. Official or certified copies must come from that office, not this private reference site.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their services, prices, and results. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor follows a paid offer. That does not make the site a court-record custodian, and it does not control a provider's results or charges.
